SITE DESCRIPTION
The WYC Website is primarily a static site designed as a web presense, it does however contain a post & comments page we use for feedback which resides in the members area only, personal details are minimal or at the users discretion. However if a visitor wishes to provide a higher degree of their personal information within the contact form as an example, then we make sure as with all visitors, that they are aware of our privacy policy (This document) and for which a link is always displayed in the footer bar. Any person entering data will be required to have ticked the GDPR box on any forms before submission.

1. At WYC your privacy is very important to us and we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

If you send us media via upload or to our site and viewable by other visitors, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Logged in users of the website will be showing their user names and email to administration staff, also blogs, posts and comments are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.

Visitors to the WYC website may choose to provide contact and other contact related information that identifies them, this is normally restricted to Full Name, Contact number and Email address. The amount and type of information that WYC gathers depends on the nature of the interaction but only insofar as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with WYC. After a contact has been submitted, ongoing communication will take place by direct email or phone, but again it is stressed that WYC as a body take your privacy seriously. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
WHAT WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION
WYC discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to members of the Committee who are responsible for the decision making and ongoing dealings with any member or prospective member or Associate member which may be required for the day to day operations. WYC will not disclose it to any others.
If you are a registered member of the WYC Website and have supplied your email address, you may occasionally be sent an email to inform you about something that may be relevant to you as a member or something that you should be informed about.
If you send us a request via email, we reserve the right to include it within our forwarded email communication in order to help us clarify or respond to your request, this would be limited to the subject and subject details only and only to other Committee members.
HOW WE SAFEGAURD THE INFORMATION
WYC takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorised access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information. Any web related information regarding user ID and logins would be part of our site and kept on the servers at our hosting company, which are protected via our sites security and our hosting company’s security measures. All personal information submitted via the contact form is stored on the WYC Website servers, this information is kept on record to allow WYC to carry out our day to day activities.
WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE ON YOUR DATA
If you have are registered on this site, or have left comments or contact information, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Any information we hold on a person can be requested and deleted if required at any time.
For the purpose of clarity WYC will only hold minimal personal data on anyone using our online services such as the WYC website or any of our email addresses. If a member leaves the club, then the data for that person will be removed and deleted.
COOKIES

Embedded content from other websites is not a large part of our site in any way, but visitors must be aware that embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.)from other websites behave in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

CLUB TRANSFERED, DISBANDED OR CLOSURE
If WYC was to be taken over, user information could be transferred or acquired by the new ownership. If however the club was ever to Disband or close, then all data would be deleted as far as the website and membership data goes. You acknowledge that such transfers or closures could occur, and that any acquirer of WYC may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
ADS
We do not use Ads, however Ads and other Pop ups appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by other certain means we have not become aware of. If this has become the case please notify the site admin.
CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
Although most changes are likely to be minor, WYC may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and at the sole discretion of WYC. We would hence encourage our visitors to check this page for any changes if they feel the need to do so. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such a change.
